I'm looking for a 1,592cc Alpine Marine, Alpine Series II or Rapier Series IIIa engine and have a 1,724cc Arrow range twin Stromberg equipped engine that I believe is from a Fastback Rapier (engine number 8E138597QB) to swap. I am happy to buy outright and I also have a dismantled Holbay complete with inlet manifold and twin 40DCOEs with trumpets which I might consider swapping with a cash adjustment. Both blocks are already fitted with the earlier front mounting plate to upright the engines but the Holbay manifold would need de-wedging for upright use.
I hope my new Alpine floats better than my old one
