2012 Cars of Rootes Group Calendar

Hi all,

As usual I am producing a calendar for Cars of the Rootes group next year. This is a not-for-profit venture that I do for all the Rootes fans I have met throughout the world via the internet and in person. The calendar is A4 size, spiral bound, full colour, printed on quality paper, 1 page per month and costs about $US13 plus shipping. It features shots of Humbers, Hillmans and Sunbeams and any other Roote vehicles I can get shots of. I produce it with pictures donated by Rootes owners around the world.

And as usual I am on the scrounge for pictures, particularly Humbers which always seem hard to get. So this is your chance to have your car featured in print. There are only two points to note - you must 'own' the picture, and it has to be of reasonable resolution - about 4 megapixels minimum. Oh and I need them soon. OK, it’s all systems go – the 2012 Cars of the Rootes Group Calendar is ready for purchase. It’s A4 size (double – so you get an A4 size Car above an A4 size Month), full colour, spiral bound, drilled for wall hanging, one page per month printed on quality glossy paper. I say quality paper because that’s what they specify, but the last couple of versions have been on light card which is even better. Thanks to all who provided pictures for inclusion.

As promised, there are 3 versions: Hillman, Humber and Sunbeam. Some pics are common to all, but each version has its own cover, 6 pictures of the featured marque and 3 each of the other marques. Links to small versions of the pics follow at the end of this email.

The calendar is printed by Lulu Publishing in the USA on an “as ordered” basis – you can buy 1 copy or as many as you like. Basic price is US$12.50 plus shipping, with discounts for orders of 5 or more (bigger orders also cost less per-unit for shipping). For example, Lulu are quoting me US$62 for 5 copies including shipping - $12.40 per unit, pretty good for such an exclusive, quality calendar. Lulu takes credit cards and Paypal.
