I've bought a replacement stromberg for my Hunter.it was very cheap & new old stock off ebay.I fitted it today & found there was no where to put the vacuum pipe from the distributor on the carb.I'm guessing ive been sold one of a pair of twins.the car seems to be running fine but will it be okay running it without the vacuum advance pipe??? any advice much appreciated.worried i might be doing it damage.

thanks for that Mike.been driving it today & it seems fine. All the 'vacuum advance' business is beyond me.I did notice that my distributer has had an electronic module put in it in place of points. So maybe not having the advance attached will matter even less? Thanks again for your help. Simon.
