Pretty much every 'mobile shop' that visited us in the sticks during my childhood was one of these. Have you seen one recently? Must be fairly near extinct.

Davenports Brewery in Birmingham had a fleet of these back in the 60's/70's.

I can clearly remember the Davenports van every Saturday afternoon, clattering down our street stopping every few doors to drop off a couple of crates of Brown and pick up the empties!!
