yep, as of tuesday I'm back in the fold of proper rootes ownership, as I've 're-acquired' my old hunter estate from richy246
it's a '72/73 L reg tax exempt estate in a fetching shade of patchy green, now sporting a silver glitter roof, a lowered front end, and a lovely CD player
plans for the moment are to sort out the too long wheelstuds which stop the seth supplied cosmic slots from fitting correctly
and to figure out some sort of lairy paint job for it - maybe some big assed scallops??
got to sort out some maintainance of the brakes & steering first though, and some panel replacement due to the tin worm making an appearence
also got to sort out the still malfunctioning overdrive, though hopefully this will be sorted as my mate down the scrappy is borrowing the car for the next few weekes as his wheels are off the road!
I also have in my posession a very nice photo shop of a '2-doored' hunter wagon, courtesy of briandamaged, so if anyone has a pair of rapier doors floating about.....
