I always liked VLs - I reckon the Nissan motor transformed the car. They reminded me a bit of the BMW 3.0Si that I owned for a while, although they didn't match the BMW for handling. I nearly bought one about 12 months before I found the VK
The LM5000, although rare, isn't as highly sought after as the more recognisable models like the Group 3 and Blue meanie Group A. Still, it has held it's value over the 17 years I have owned it and I still get asked if I want to sell it every time I take it out . And it's as quick as a Group 3, I only wish the original buyer had ticked the 5 speed gearbox option.
The market went crazy after Brocky was killed, but it's settled down a lot now. Some people who payed insane prices must be hurting a bit at the moment.

Vic,
Will be in Canberra this weekend. Let me know where we can meet so you can take these parts off my hands.

Larry,
Great, look forward to meeting you. What are your plans? I live in MacGregor, West Belconnen but am happy to meet you anywhere convenient for you. If you are staying somewhere I could call there and meet you. If you are coming to Battle of Waterloo I could meet you there. If you know when you will be arriving I can meet you on your way into town. Whatever works best for you. Do you have a mobile number I could call you on?
