Hi everyone......New to the forum, so I thought I'd drop my details in here. Currently building a mild-kustom early Mk1 Sceptre (1963 Twin Zeniths 1592cc Mk1a version). It's been languishing at the paintshop for about 8 months now, initially went in for a quick tidy up (don't they all !) & ended up with a far bit of welding & a bare metal re-spray !! It's going to be two tone in a v.pale blue (top) & blue micro flake (bottom). Lowered with proper re-made springs & Spax at the front.....hand polished (what a pain !) Wolfrace slotmags & to be running a Vauxhall 2.0i lump with a 5 Speed Manual box. "Should" be up running & completed in the summer.... fingers crossed !

I've got some "under construction" pics.....how do I post them ?? Mr V8 Sceptre......I found your website ages ago when contemplating what engine swap to do......my 15 year old son was adamant that a V8 Rover lump was the way to go.....as a proper kustom just can't have a modern injected engine in it !! When I saw your pics....it kinda put me off the V8 route....you're a brave man Sir !!

I am doing a 66 Singer Vogue Estate custom. Using Nissan 240SX engine and running gear, taking longer than expected (it's really cold in my garage!).
Good friend of mine back in UK has a Mk1 Sceptre nicely rodded using Cosworth running gear and an Astra 2.0 GTE motor. I'll get him on here too.

Hi all, no rootes car yet, although I did own an Imp for a few months with a view to restoring it. Sadly that never happened though.

Nice Gazelle, any chance of you doing a full "reader's ride" thread for it on here as I'd love to see/read more, plus it may breathe a bit of life into the place.
