Is the 1960 Super Snipe the ex John Harniman car? Built from largely new parts in the 80s ?

Is the 1960 Super Snipe the ex John Harniman car? Built from largely new parts in the 80s ? Which one do you mean? (sorry, being a blonde! ) If you mean the yellow Street Addict, it was built by Malcom Jaye in the very early 1980's. He sold it when he moved to the US in the mid 1980's and no-one knew where it was, there were mutterings that it was somewhere in Ipswich not far from where they hold the Nats. I got a strange phone call early this year as PVHCC area rep asking if I knew of anyone that wanted this yellow Humber for spares and the rest is history as they say. Street Addict is a 1963 series 3 Super Snipe (might have got the year wrong :

Sorry.
Yes, but as far we have been told the car was put into store in the early 1960's and came out in late 1970's when it had a light restoration and was resprayed and put back on the road, I think by John. Then Andy Havil bought it and sold it in 2002 and then we bought it in 2004.
It's had several changes of plates over the years.

Rather than re-invent the wheel I found these instructions on posting pictures to forums that are fairly comprehensive. www.woodenpropeller.com/Forumpost.html[/img] I'm trying to post pictures to this thread but can't seem to be having any luck.
